Responsibilities:
- Gathers and processes quantitative and qualitative data.
- Monitors and maintains database systems and troubleshoot problems that may arise.
- Assists in implementing solutions for managing back-ups, restoration, and replication.
- Assists in performing system backups and recovery procedures to ensure full data retrieval.
- Performs project research and report preparation related to the activities of the IT department.
- Maintains needed files by adding and deleting items on the network server and backing up files to guarantee their safety in the event of network issues.
- Assists users to diagnose and solve data communication problems.
- Train users to properly utilize equipment and applications.
- Writes logical and physical database descriptions (when required).
- Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Performs other responsibilities and duties, as required.
Required knowledge and skills:
- University graduates in Computer Science or Business Computing.
- knowledgeable in SQL and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with various types of database software.
- Analytical Skills & firm grasp of various database software.
