Job summary:
The Marketing & Social media Specialist is responsible for implementing WMK SHOP marketing activities with the Creative Director, including media and PR, marketing strategies, posting calendar, social media strategies, research, and campaigns. This is a unique opportunity to get a high-level view of the major trends in the digital sector, and a broad understanding of the movers and shakers who are shaping the web and mobile industry across the region, and understand how commercial relationships are built and how deals are closed. The Marketing Specialist reports to the Creative Director & CEO.
Tasks and responsibilities:
• Support the Marketing Department in developing marketing and communication strategies
• Implementing marketing and communication activities ensuring correct messaging and targeting in all marketing collateral based on approved plans
• Implement set strategies on Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, and other social platforms.
• Develop, maintain, and execute an editorial calendar to coordinate publishing schedules.
• Assisting in copywriting for all marketing collateral, including email campaigns, print ads, TV and radio ads, posters, flyers, brochures, etc
• Set Monitor and report on social media advertising budget
• Managing all online and social advertising campaigns –including optimization, tracking key metrics, reporting on the effectiveness of campaigns
• Working with the Social media Coordinator on implementations Skills and competencies
• Translate a campaign concept into creative visual form through design, video, social and emerging platforms
• Maintain a positive relationship with the marketing team, ensuring that concepts meet the requirements of the Creative department
• Ability to visualize concepts and deliver campaigns from concept to execution within deadlines
• Develop layouts of rough ideas -- Leading conceptual brainstorming and visual explorations
• BA or BS with focus on communication, advertising, and/or marketing
• +5 years of experience in managing social media accounts
• Demonstrated ability to manage and execute large and detailed advertising campaigns
• Hands-on experience using online advertising platforms: Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.
• Experience with online social media management platforms
• Analytical and reporting skills
• Expertise in creating consumer-facing content
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Team player, flexible, adaptable
