Role Description
This is a full-time role for a PHP Developer at WMK Tech located in Lebanon, TN. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining dynamic websites and web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy PHP-based solutions. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first development
- Good knowledge of SQL and database design
- Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., Vue.js, React)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party services
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and payment gateways
- Knowledge of server administration and Linux environments
- Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies
- Understanding of Agile software development principles
- Ability to learn new technologies and programming languages quickly
