Senior Android Developer

WMK Tech is a software agency developing innovative solutions for clients across a variety of industries. We are seeking an experienced Senior Android Developer to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop high-performance, scalable Android applications and features

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver seamless user experiences

- Implement best practices for Android development, testing, and deployment

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Android SDK updates, libraries, and design patterns

- Mentor junior Android developers and share knowledge to help the team grow

- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and other technical meetings

- Proactively identify and resolve technical issues, optimize performance, and reduce technical debt

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience as an Android developer

- Proficient in Java and/or Kotlin, as well as Android SDK and related frameworks

- Extensive experience in building complex Android applications and integrating with backend services

- Strong understanding of Android architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP), UI/UX principles, and material design guidelines

- Familiarity with modern Android development tools and build automation (e.g., Android Studio, Gradle)

- Experience with reactive programming (RxJava/RxKotlin), dependency injection, and other architectural patterns

- Knowledge of Android testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Espresso) and continuous integration/deployment practices

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Firebase, AWS, Azure) and cross-platform development (e.g., React Native, Flutter) is a plus

- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills

- Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile app development
