Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Backend Engineer at WMK Tech in Lebanon, TN. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks of developing, testing, and maintaining robust backend systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our systems and infrastructure.
Qualifications
Strong programming skills in backend technologies such as Java, Python, or Ruby
Experience with designing and developing RESTful APIs
Proficiency in database management and optimization
Knowledge of cloud platforms and infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Understanding of software development best practices and principles
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Mercurial)
Ability to debug, analyze, and optimize complex code
Experience with agile development methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Experience in the job search or recruitment industry is a plus
