- What is a back-end developer?

The back-end of a website consists of a server , an application and a database. A back-end developer builds and maintains the technology that powers those components which together enable the user- facing side of the website to even exist.

- What is a front end developer?

A front end developer has one general responsibility: to ensure that website visitors can easily interact with the page. They do this through combination of design, technology and programming to code a website appearance.

Therefore, front end developers are responsible for implementing visual components on a website, while back-end developers works on the server-side development. They focus on database, scripting, and website architecture.
