We are looking for an experienced Full Stack WordPress Engineer for a project in the eSport industry. We need a professional who can help our team develop an eSport News Portal and transform it into an eSport News Platform.

The Portal is in its early stages of development, so this is a great opportunity to build a great product from scratch.

Requirements:

Experience in frontend development min 4 years (HTML5, CSS, SASS, native JS, JQuery)
Knowledge of WordPress API
Experience in WordPress optimization projects
Experience in website deployment process management
Experience in PHP min 3 years
Good communication skills — upper intermediate English is a must
Knowledge of Git
Good understanding of the software development lifecycle;
Big plus if you have: some experience in Python (for SEO)
Ideally, someone who loves esports and competitive gaming

Responsibilities for the probation period:

Optimize site performance (core web vitals)
Rebuild frontend to allow AB testing
Add new groups of data-driven landing pages for each game (connections to multiple APIs)
Build internal linking blocks, and automatic linking to relevant articles
Features to automatically rewrite/translate and publish articles.
Test your work and provide bug-free deliverables;
