-HTML ( the Hypertext Markup Language) and CSS ( Cascading Style Sheets) are two of the core technologies for building web pages. HTML provides the structure of the page and its content for example content could be structured within a set of paragraphs or a list of bullet points or using images and data tables, CSS is the visual layout, for a variety of devices, thus making the website more presentable to the users.
-Cascading Style Sheets is a style sheet language used for describing the presentation of a document written in markup language such as HTML. CSS is a cornerstone technology of the World Wide Web, alongside HTML and JavaScript. For example, CSS can be used to define the cell padding of table cells, the style, thickness, and color of a table's border, and the padding around images or other objects. CSS gives Web developers more control over how Web pages will look than HTML does.
-HTML and CSS are not technically programming languages, they're just page structure and style information.
- If HTML is a drywall, CSS is the paint. Whereas HTML was basic structure of the website, CSS is what gives the entire website its style. Those colors, interesting fonts,and background images are all thanks to the CSS This language affects the entire mood and tone of a web page, making it a powerful tool and important skill for web developers to learn. It's also what allows websites to adapt to different screen sizes and device types.
