If we’re not willing to settle for junk living, we certainly shouldn’t settle for junk food.
Many times we order junk food from some restaurants or street food, because we’re busy to cook or we’re boring of eating vegetables and grains always, but here i am today to tell you about some secrets of why do we have to eat healthy food rather than junk food.
So first let’s discuss why does healthy food is important?
Here, I’ll not convince you to eat healthy food in order to keep a perfect body, but I’ll give some serious reasons of eating healthy food
healthy diet or food is essential for good health and nutrition. It protects you against many chronic noncommunicable diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer. Eating a variety of foods and consuming less salt, sugars and saturated and industrially-produced trans-fats, are essential for healthy diet.
I think this reason is way more better to convince you for eating a healthy food.
But now again let’s discuss about why do we have to avoid junk food
By avoiding junk food, I don’t mean till forever, but we can eat junk food once or twice in a month, let’s see why
Eating junk food on a regular basis can lead to an increased risk of obesity and chronic diseases like cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and some cancers.
So now we can compare healthy and junk foods and see that healthy food can protect us while junk food can lead us to some serious diseases.
So after discussing about these two food styles, let me provide you with some hints that may make your lifestyle healthier
- drink around 8 to 12 cups of water daily
- Eat dark green vegetables at least 3-4 times a week
- Eat whole grains at least 2-3 times daily
- Try to eat a bean-based meal at least once in week
- Try to eat fish meal once in week
Making your lifestyle healthy is not something easy, but once you adopt to it everything around you gonna be easier.
