Marketing Development Specialist
Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Development Specialist is part of an overall team that supports the marketing,communications, and branding effort for wmkshop
This position will create, maintain, and enhance websites,social media channels, print, emails and video communications. This willinclude creating media assets, maintaining content, and performing front-endand back-end development work. The right candidate will work autonomously andalongside our marketing team on the design and implementation of innovativesolutions to enhance the user and customer experiences. Work with management toidentify new and creative opportunities to support additional businessprocesses or functions. Work with vendors to provide Proof of Concept trials ofnew systems for evaluation as necessary. 3rd Party platform integration andmaintenance.
Education and Experience
Bachelors Degree in Art, Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Information Technology or Computer Science or a related field is preferred, but a strong project portfolio trumps all.
5 years of related work experience in technology/ online lead-gen business
Experience working within a marketing team
Proven UX/UI experience
Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and software technologies
Experience designing responsive websites
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
Strong interaction and information design skills
Required Technical Skills
Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, Finalcut, etc.)
Photography and Videography production and post production experience required
HTML and CSS and JavaScript
5 years of WordPress development experience
Good visual design sense
Technical experience in Client-side languages and frameworks including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Experience with Google Ads, Facebook advertising, and other a plus
Knowledge of SEO (search engine optimization)
Highly Desirable Skills
Salesforce development, including user setup, design and configuration of Custom Objects, Profiles and Roles, Workflow/Process Builder, Visual Flows, Custom Fields, Validation Rules, Page Layouts.
Knowledge of Interior Design or video & Marble Industry
