Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex, high-performance web applications using PHP and related technologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and clients, to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable web applications using PHP, Laravel, Symfony, or other PHP frameworks

- Integrate web applications with databases, APIs, and other backend services

- Optimize application performance, security, and maintainability

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment

- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement creative solutions to technical challenges

- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code that adheres to industry standards and best practices

- Perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers

- Stay up-to-date with the latest PHP technologies, frameworks, and industry trends

Required Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience as a PHP developer

- Proficient in PHP, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns

- Experience working with PHP frameworks, such as Laravel or Symfony

- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

- Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration

- Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools

- Ability to write clean, well-structured, and testable code

- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills

- Effective communication and collaboration abilities, both with technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Desired Qualifications:

- Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js, React)

- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and deployment platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean)

- Knowledge of web application security best practices

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools

- Certified in relevant PHP or web development technologies

- Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce, Magento)
