Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Senior Big Data Engineer located in Lebanon, TN. As a Senior Big Data Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing large datasets using cutting-edge technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable data solutions. Your expertise will contribute to the development of data pipelines, data warehousing, and data integration. You will play a vital role in ensuring data quality, data security, and optimal performance.

Qualifications

Strong experience in working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Apache Kafka
Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala
Experience with cloud-based data platforms like AWS or Azure
In-depth knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration techniques
Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Understanding of data governance, data security, and data privacy principles
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience with machine learning and statistical analysis is a plus
