Project: Web Portal File Transfer Utility Enhancement
Role: Senior PHP Developer (80 hours).
Would be ‘nice, but not a requirement if this resource also has ‘JavaScript/Node’ experience as we could include additional tasks & time.
* Task: “File Transfer Job Scheduler Utility” on the existing Laravel Framework portal.
Skill:
“Need to have”: advanced PHP, reliable Messaging & File Transfer concepts (error checking & retry), Job Server concepts (error checking & retry, cancel).
"Nice to have": JavaScript/React.
Description: Develop PHP based “Job Scheduler utility” with the following functions:
- Securely store a Registered User’s ‘Secret & Keys Credentials’ for their specified Cloud Provider, examples: GCP (Google), Azure (MS), Amazon (AWS)
- Allow the user to choose files in a Cloud Provider referred to as “Source Data” (example files in GCP Cloud Storage),
- Setup a ‘Transfer Process’ to copy/transfer the file to another Cloud Provider referred to as “Target Location” (example AWS or Azure).
- Include "error checking and retry" to verify the complete transfer of files.
- Status Page & Notifications to Administrators and User on the Job completion status.
- Include Unit (PHP) and Functional (Selenium) Testing Coverage.
The project can expand on the very broad existing Unit & Functional testing English Intermediate - Upper-Intermediate
