HR managerOur client is a Danish startup and an Ocean tech company. Their vision is to empower divers across the globe to help reverse the steep decline of life beneath the surface. Dive by dive. As a React Native developer you will be responsible for working on their app, used by divers all around the world.
Their Dive Camera is thus the first underwater action camera made for divers, by divers! For good bit of time, they have prototyped, engineered, tested, and developed products for hundreds of clients. Their app is split between a utility part allowing divers to configure and manage their camera and a social part where divers are exploring and sharing stories and dive logs. Both iOS and Android are primarily built using React Native but have some native code for camera connection and image processing.
Skills required:
- 2+ years of experience with React Native;
- Experience in testing, deployment, maintenance and releasing mobile applications;
- Experience in building offline-first applications;
- Good understanding of code versioning tools (GIT);
- Experience in Agile software development;
- You can handle the typical developer tools and uses the latest technologies;
- Good written and spoken communications in English;
- Flexible and adaptable to work with a variety of technology and business challenges.
As a plus:
- To be familiar or to have an experience with GraphQL;
Configuring builds with Fastlane or similar.
Responsibilities include:
- You will be guiding the bootstrap and development of mobile application used by divers all around the world;
- Work with minimal overhead and bureaucracy, as clients wants to ensure independence and that decision power stays within team/teams.
- Participation in discussions and decision-making during the development process;
- Have a lot of influence on how you work, and deliver new features and functionality;
