Position Summary

As the Senior/Lead IT Recruiter, you will be responsible for leading our talent acquisition efforts, with a focus on identifying, attracting, and securing top-tier software engineering and IT professionals. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with our hiring managers and leadership team to develop and execute effective recruitment strategies, enhance our employer brand, and build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.


Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to fill a wide range of IT and software engineering roles, including full-stack developers, data engineers, DevOps specialists, and more

- Utilize various sourcing channels, such as job boards, social media, employee referrals, and professional networks, to identify and engage with high-caliber passive and active candidates

- Conduct thorough candidate screening, interviewing, and assessment processes to ensure the selection of the best-fit individuals for our organization

- Collaborate with hiring managers to accurately define role requirements, understand team dynamics, and craft compelling job descriptions

- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial outreach to onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the process

- Analyze recruitment metrics and trends to continuously optimize our talent acquisition efforts, identify areas for improvement, and recommend strategic initiatives

- Stay up-to-date with the latest recruitment trends, best practices, and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our hiring processes

- Develop and implement employee referral programs, internship initiatives, and other innovative recruitment strategies to build a diverse, high-performing team

- Partner with HR and marketing teams to enhance our employer brand, promote our company culture, and attract top talent in the competitive technology landscape

- Mentor and train junior recruiters, sharing your expertise and best practices in IT and software engineering recruitment


Required Qualifications:

- 7+ years of progressive experience in IT and software engineering recruitment, with a proven track record of successfully filling a diverse range of technical roles

- Demonstrated expertise in sourcing, screening, and assessing candidates with a strong technical background, including hands-on experience with coding assessments and technical interviews

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Proficient in the use of applicant tracking systems, candidate relationship management (CRM) tools, and other recruitment technologies

- Thorough understanding of the IT and software engineering job market, including current trends, compensation benchmarks, and industry-specific recruiting strategies

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data-driven insights to optimize recruitment processes

- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions and competing priorities

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) are a plus


Desired Qualifications:

- Experience in the digital agency or technology consulting industry

- In-depth knowledge of the latest recruitment techniques, including social media sourcing, employee referral programs, and diversity and inclusion initiatives

- Familiarity with modern software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps) and the technical skills required for various IT and engineering roles

- Understanding of employment laws, labor market dynamics, and best practices in talent acquisition and workforce planning

- Proficiency in data analysis and the use of metrics to measure and improve recruitment performance

- Excellent project management and change management skills, with the ability to lead and implement new recruitment initiatives

- Certifications in talent acquisition, human resources, or recruitment (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CPRW, CIR)
