**Position Summary**

As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of our IT infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems. Leveraging your strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills, you will work collaboratively with our engineering and operations teams to maintain and optimize our IT environment, enabling our teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences for our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain the company's on-premises and cloud-based IT infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, networking devices, and other critical components

- Implement and maintain robust security protocols, including firewalls, access controls, and data backup and recovery procedures, to safeguard our data and systems

- Proactively monitor system performance, identify and address issues, and implement preventative measures to ensure the availability and reliability of our infrastructure

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and optimize infrastructure solutions that support the evolving needs of our business

- Automate and streamline IT processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce the risk of manual errors

- Provide technical support and guidance to our teams, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the seamless operation of our IT systems

- Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance the capabilities and performance of our IT environment

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on infrastructure architecture, configurations, and operational procedures

- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to critical incidents and emergencies to ensure business continuity

- Mentor and train junior system administrators, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing

**Required Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or a similar IT operations role, with a proven track record of managing and maintaining complex infrastructure environments

- Proficient in the administration and maintenance of Linux-based operating systems (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL) and Windows Server

- Extensive experience in cloud infrastructure management, including provisioning and configuring resources on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

- Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, and firewall configuration, and the ability to troubleshoot network-related issues

- Expertise in database administration, backup and recovery procedures, and performance optimization

- Strong working knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes

- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and their application in infrastructure provisioning and automation

- Proficient in monitoring and alerting tools, log analysis, and incident response procedures

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues

- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and translate technical information to non-technical stakeholders

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Experience in the digital agency or technology consulting industry

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and their integration with infrastructure management

- Knowledge of scripting and programming languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) for automation and custom tooling

- Exposure to application-level monitoring and performance tuning

- Experience with cloud-based identity and access management (IAM) solutions

- Certifications in cloud platforms, IT service management, or other relevant technical disciplines

- Understanding of Agile software development methodologies and their impact on infrastructure requirements
