One of the services we provide is Web Development. Web Development is building a Website either for the Internet (World Wide Web) or an Intranet (private Network) and maintaining it. It means coding, programming, or writing markup which allowsthe functionality of the Websites, which are the non-design aspects of building a Website.

Web Development contains two parts which are: Front-end Development and Back-end Development. Front-end Development is everything that will be visible to the user/client. As for the Back-end Development, it’s the part of the Website that the user/client cannot see.

Under Web Development fall the following features: Web Design, Web Publishing, Web Programming, and Database Management. A Web Developer and a Web Designer are sometimes used interchangeably, however, their meanings are not the same; the key role of a Web Designer is to designWebsite Interfaces by using HTML and CSS. Whereas a Web Developer can also write Web Scripts in languages namely PHP and ASP. Also, a Web Developer can help in maintaining as well as updating a Database that is used by a Dynamic Website.

There are plenty of types of Web Content Creation that form part of Web Development. Such as hand coding Web Pages in a Text Editor, developing a Website in programs like Dreamwaver, and updating a blog through a blogging Website. Over the past few years, Content Management Systems such as WordPress and Joomla have made their way through becoming the most common means of Web Development. Such means make it easier for all the ones who wish to develop and edit their own Websites in a practical way, using a Web-based Interface.

Hence, there is a balance between being simple and customize, so long as in order to develop a Website, one can refer to many methods. Thus, nearly all large businesses tend not to use Content Management Systems, but rather have a Web Development Team that plans, designs, and maintains all the Websites of the Company. However, individuals as well as smaller companies tend to use WordPress since it offers basicand simplified templates which are easy to modify and edit.
